Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski congratulated Wednesday the religious holiday Ramadan Bayram to the Head of the Islamic Religious Community Reis Ul Ulema Haxhi Suleiman Effendi Rexhepi.

On my behalf and on behalf of the government I would like to congratulate the great Muslim holiday Ramadan Bayram to you and to all Muslim believers. The Bayram festivities and other great religious holidays have always been an opportunity for respect and brining people from different religions in Macedonia closer, Gruevski said in a congratulation note.

Gruevski expressed belief that the improvement of mutual respect and cooperation between the citizens, believers and religious communities in Macedonia will continue in the future aimed at democratically to strength our society and to bring better life to every citizen.

Let's continue our efforts in providing conditions for economic development and improvement of the standards of the citizens by modernisation of reforms in every sphere aimed at building more prosperous Macedonia, the note reads.
