Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski handed over Sunday in Prilep a total of 60 building legalization certificates.

The Ministry has been closely monitoring the process of legalization of unlawfully constructed buildings, doing its best to grant full assistance to citizens dealing with this matter, Janakieski said.

"I am glad that the Prilep municipality is a leader in implementing the law on handling illegally constructed .buildings. 6.500 buildings have been legalized in Prilep thus far," Janakieski said.

He once again notified that the deadline for submitting the building legalization applications would expire at the end of 2015. That is the final period until all interested citizens need to submit the necessary documents for legalization of their properties.

A total of 105,706 building legalization certificates have been issued thus far, Janakievski said.

The Government, he said, has adopted legal Legal amendments for welfare and social assistance beneficiaries, under which the survey of their real estate and the preparation of studies are to be performed by the Agency for Real Estate Cadastre.
