Macedonia's Honorary Consul General to Japan, Kiyoshi Mizuno was decorated Thursday in Tokyo with a Medal of Merits for Macedonia for his exceptional contribution to and engagement in developing the relations and friendship between the two countries.

Macedonia's Vienna-based Ambassador to Japan Gjorgi Filipov presented the decoration to Mizuno on behalf of President Gjorge Ivanov at a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Vice-Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski, representatives of Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of Macedonians living in this country.
