PM Gruevski appeals for peaceful protests, says institutions will not tolerate acts of violence

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski once again appealed for peaceful protests against the verdicts in 'Monster' case.

State institutions will not tolerate any acts of violence, Gruevski told reporters on Thursday.

"The right of protesting is a democratic one and I support all of those who need to do so. Many individuals and groups, who were part of various protests, contributed to developing of certain processes in a society. But I, as nobody in and out of the country, cannot support violence. The intuitions will not allow that," Gruevski said after the promotion of a lab at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering.

The institutions are capable to deal with all possible developments and protect the interests of the citizens and the state, the PM said.
