Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met Monday with Ellen Goldstein, the World Bank's Country Director for the Western Balkans.

Interlocutors referred to the 20. anniversary of cooperation between Macedonia and the World Bank, agreeing the experience has been positive, perceived in the implemented projects.

PM Gruevski thanked the World Bank for its support in large projects in diverse fields, aimed at the country's economic progress.

Goldstein voiced satisfaction from recent achievements, as well as the fact that Macedonia has proved itself as an active partner in the realization of numerous projects.

Gruevski and Goldstein expressed hope the excellent cooperation would continue in the future through implementation of projects in the citizens' interest and stimulation of the economic development.
