Macedonian managers to be trained abroad

150 managers from Macedonia as of next year will be practically trained at companies in Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain as part of the project "Top Management", the Government’s spokesman said Saturday.

The project aims at encouraging managers to upgrade their capabilities and acquire fresh knowledge and skills that would be of great significance for their companies and personal development, according to Aleksandar Gjorgjiev.

Managers from the metalworking industry, information technologies, trade, agriculture, accounting, food industry, tourism, consulting companies, marketing agencies, etc will attend practical trainings lasting three to four weeks. Most of the costs will be covered by the Government.

After completing the trainings, the managers upon their return to Macedonia will be obliged to file a report to the Government and to make a presentation of the knowledge and skills acquired abroad, said spokesman Gjorgjiev.

So far, 200 managers attended theoretical trainings for planning, organization, control, business plan development, strategic planning and leadership as part of the project "Top Management", which has been realized in two stages.
