Best business plans in 2013 named at ceremony

You can have million ideas, but they could be worthless unless you do something to turn them into reality. You probably want to open a business, to create something new, but you keep telling yourselves that now is not the best time. There is no perfect moment, you should create it yourselves.

This was stated by Minister of Economy Valon Saraqini at a ceremony announcing the best business plans as part of the project i.e. competition for starting a business "Be Perspective, Start Your Own Business".

"Electronic Waste Network", "Warlander", "In Safe Eco Energy" were named the best business plans in 2013 as part of the project whose objective is to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit amongst young people.

Surveys show that a majority of final-year students want to get a job in public administration with only 10% of them saying they want to run a business.

"Students have a lot of ideas which cannot be turned into a business because there's no one to support them. This reward will become traditional, whereas the project 'Be Perspective - Start Your Own Business" will help young people to turn their business ideas into a business plan," Saraqini said.

106 students submitted their own ideas after the project was launched 18 months ago. 30 business ideas were picked by a commission and a training was held in 13 modules on how a business idea to be turned into a business plan.
