Gruevski-Zaev: Agreement on report about 24 December events to be reached by Friday

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and leader of the opposition SDSM Zoran Zaev shared opinions Monday about possibilities for moving the process on investigating the events of 24 December 2012 forward.

Last efforts should be made in the upcoming period for unblocking, intensifying the process and adopting a final solution on the report of the commission dealing with these events as a last attempt for reaching an agreement, because a possible failure to do so will jeopardize Macedonia's European perspectives.

The meeting resulted in postponing the deadline for reaching an agreement on the commission's report by 23 August (Friday). If this attempt fails, than reaching of the final solution will be considered as unobtainable.
