PM Gruevski meets head of OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission to Macedonia

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski had a meeting Tuesday with Julian Peel Yates, head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission, which monitored the June 5-snap parliamentary elections in Macedonia.

Gruevski and Yates shared opinions on possibilities for further advancing of the election process in the country, the Government's Information Service said in a press release.

Gruevski expressed satisfaction with the successful conduct of the early parliamentary elections and thanked ODIHR on its support of the election activities.

Yates also praised the conduct of the snap elections, qualifying the process as fair, free and peaceful.

ODIHR, he said, is ready to help Macedonia to further improve the election process, the press release reads.
