Government support for family of Skopje's first baby in 2013

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, accompanied by Health Minister Nikola Todorov, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Spiro Ristovski, and Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski paid a visit Tuesday to the first baby born in Skopje in 2013.

PM Gruevski announced the Government would allocate a one-time assistance in the amount of EUR 1,000 to the family.

Minister Ristovski gave the baby two gold coins, whereas Mayor Trajanovski a bankbook with Denar 20,000 (EUR 330).

Moreover, Mr. Todorov said the Health Ministry would provide diapers, food, hygiene means for the baby in 2013.

The 54cm-tall baby, weighing at 4,3kg, is Jasmina Smilevska's (b.1971) eighth child, six of whom boys and two girls.
