Premier Nikola Gruevski on the occasion of the Christian holiday, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ - Easter, sent a congratulation note to Bishop of Skopje and Apostolic Exarch of Macedonia Kiro Stojanov and to all Catholic followers in Macedonia.

"Today, on this magnificent day, I would like on my personal behalf and on behalf of the Macedonian Government to congratulate the greatest Christian holiday, Easter, to you, your clergy and to all Catholic believers in Macedonia".

He takes the opportunity to underline the Government's permanent determination to promote and develop the multi-religious society for being one of the best guarantees for progress, realization of reforms that will enable conditions for social development and Macedonia's progress in its European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

"Celebrating this great day, I wish you and all believers moments of understanding, mercy and prosperity in every home. Christ is Risen! Truly, He is Risen," reads the note.
