Macedonia's Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev held Wednesday a farewell meeting with outgoing EU Ambassador Aivo Orav.

Dimitriev and Orav commended the EU-Macedonia relations and expressed satisfaction with the cooperation at all levels of mutual interest.

Dimitriev extended gratitude over the EU's regular support of Macedonia's reforms and upgrading of standards in all spheres of the society. He also praised Orav's personal engagement to that effect.

Dimitriev and Orav pointed out that Macedonia and the EU would keep cooperating in turning the country's strategic goal - a full-fledged membership - into a reality.
