Dimitriev: Over €1 million to be invested in new infrastructure projects in Kriva Palanka

Over €1 million will be invested in new projects for improving road infrastructure in the municipality of Kriva Palanka. Moreover, construction of a second local road for access to ‘Joakim Osogovski’ monastery and construction of a local road in the village Zidilovo are also planned.

Ground breaking ceremony for construction of the roads was attended Wednesday by Caretaker Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev, municipality officials and metropolitan of Kumanovo and Osogovo, Josif.

The 2-km-long road which will connect Varoviste village and ‘Joakim Osogovski’ monastery will cost Denar 17.700.000 funds provided by the government, and the construction of the 1-km-long local road in the village Zidilovo will cost the same amount.

Dimitriev said that new projects are important for improvement of the lives of the citizens and development of the region.

The road to the monastery will provide easier access adding that a second local road connecting the monastery will facilitate access to all who wish to visit.

The road to monastery was one of the main needs of residents and visitors of the monastery Dimitriev said, adding that as the second local road will facilitate the access to all who wish to visit the monastery.

Dimitriev and Kriva Palanka mayor Arsenco Aleksovski announced projects as construction of sewage treatment plants networks in the villages of Mozdivnjak, Durachka River and Dlabocica. Also roads to locality Kalin Kamen will be built, which is important for the development of local tourism.

We are strongly focused on resolving the problems of the citizens of Kriva Palanka and the in the past period government invested about three million euros in construction of local roads and sewage system in Kriva Palanka, Dimitriev said, adding that the investment meant the realization of many projects that permanently solved the serious problems of the citizens of Kriva Palanka and the surrounding settlements.

The government will continue with the support in the future, and proof of this, Dimitrov said is the new announced projects worth over a million euros which will mean further improving the living conditions and economic development of Kriva Palanka.

During the visit to Kriva Palanka, Dimitriev also met with inhabitants who informed him about their needs and priorities. Dimitriev presented them the plans of the government and the municipality on already started and future projects.
