MINISTER WITHOUT PORTFOLIO


NEZHDET MUSTAFA – Minister without portfolio

 

Born on May 17, 1962 in Skopje.

He graduated from the Sts, Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje in the field of philosophy, and obtained the title graduated professor of philosophy. Fluently speaks German language.

 

Work experience:
From 1991 to 1994 he was employed by the Macedonian Radio and Television – Roma Editorial Office.

  • 1996 to 2000 he was a lord mayor of Shuto Orizari.
  • 2000 to 2001 he was reelected for lord mayor of Shuto Orizari.
  • 2002 to 2006 he was a member of the Macedonian Parliament.
  • 2006 to 2008 he was again a member of the Macedonian Parliament.
  • 2008 up to now he holds a position of a minister without portfolio.

 

International experience

From 2004 up to now he holds a position of Secretary General of the European Forum of Romas in the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

 

Political Activities:

  • 1991 – 1994  - the founder of the First Party of  Romas –PCER Secretary General
  • 1994 President of the Democratic Progressive Party of the Romas (DPPRM)
  • In 2002 elected for a president of the Great Union of PCERM and DPPRM into United Party for Emancipation
  • On April 28,2007 at the congress of OPE elected for President
  • On April 20, 2009 at the last congress of OPE elected for president.

He is married and father of three children.
