Turkish plastics manufacturer Proline to open a plant in Macedonia

Turkish Proline company announced it will open a plant for plastic products in Macedonia, with an investment worth 3 million EUR. Owner of Proline Altan Chugerlich announced the investment after meeting with Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski at a business forum in the Turkish city of Adana on Friday.

- After my first visit to Macedonia we made the decision to invest there. In a few months, we decided to begin to build our plant and we have five other investors interested to open plants with us. The Macedonian market gives many opportunities in terms of the European market, Chugerlich said.

The company owner said that he had a broader plan to invest in Macedonia, with an initial investment of 3 million EUR and 50 employees, while the other five investments were in different stages of preparation.

Prime Minister Gruevski said that the business forums in Turkey were a good success.

- Including this presentation today, and the individual meetings with companies we had, five Turkish companies confirmed, with certainty, that they are coming to invest in Macedonia. They come from different economic sectors. Many more are on the way to make the decision. We have invited some of them to come and examine locations, meet our chambers of commerce, our institutions and potential business partners they could find in Macedonia. So, we are well under way to attracting a large number of companies that will create new jobs for our citizens, Gruevski said.
