Fourteen new kindergartens will open nationwide by the end of 2014, increasing the capacity in state-run institutions by 750 children, said Government Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev at Wednesday's press conference.

The investment for the new kindergartens amounts to about EUR 1 million.

The new kindergartens will be build in Dojran, Demir Kapija, Vasilevo, Bosilovo, Monospitovo, Orizari, Istibanja, Karbinci, Mogorce, Gjorce Petrov, Kisela Voda and Saraj.

A portion of these kindergartens will be new buildings, others will be added to already existing facilities or be adapted within educational capacities.

"The required funds are provided jointly by the Government and the local authorities", added Gjorgjiev.
