Ukrainian company to invest $18m and open 150 jobs in Macedonia

Kiev-based company 'Energia' Ltd, engaged in developing innovative technologies for water purification systems, will invest US$ 18 million and open 150 jobs in Macedonia.

The company has already registered its branch office in Macedonia and is now wrapping up the projects for construction of a 20.000sqm-plant in the technological-industrial-development zone Skopje 2.

The company is planning to launch the construction works in the second half of this year and start the production in the middle of 2015, said Victor Mizo, CEO of the Directorate of Technological Industrial Development Zones.

The annual production of up to US$ 20 million is aimed for the US, Africa and Far-East countries.
