Government to allocate sites for gas stations, accompanying facilities

Government measures for opening of new gas stations and accompanying service facilities at several sites along the Corridor 10 motorway and regional road sections aim towards new investments, jobs and support to local economic development, said Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev at Sunday's press conference.

Six of the 13 sites for gas stations and accompanying service facilities will be allocated at motorway M1, whereas the remaining seven at regional road sections. The state-owned land will be sold through e-auctions.

The Government is also developing a project for introduction of content that would increase the attractiveness of Corridor 10 road sections.

"These are temporary green markets for agriculture products, but also for handicrafts", added Gjorgjiev.

The Government is also mulling the opening of a couple of aqua parks near Veles and the Greek border.
