Macedonia's Health Ministry, India's Sahara Hospital Group sign cooperation memo

Health Minister Nikola Todorov and representative of Sahara Hospital Group Amrish Chandra signed Friday a memo of cooperation.

The document opens the door for Macedonian specialists to be trained in Sahara Hospital, Todorov told reporters.

Chandra said the memo would launch an exchange of skilled doctors and establish successful cooperation in the health care sector.

The Sahara Group - part of Subrata Roy's Sahara India Pariwar conglomerate - offers high quality medical services in healthcare facilities in all cities across India with a population of over 200 residents, Chandra said.

"Under this memo we expect for these healthcare services to cross India's borders, and naturally be also provided here in Macedonia," he said.
