Over 2,000 people will be employed in 2013 through the measures within the Employment Support Operational Plan, which the Government adopted at its last session.

"The Government has allocated EUR 7 million for the measures' implementation", said Government Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev at Friday's press conference.

The plan is comprised of several active employment programmes and measures, aimed at stimulating and supporting new employments.

"This contributes to the opening of new jobs, revival of the private initiative, the citizens' entrepreneurial spirit", added Gjorgjiev.

Funds are allocated towards supporting employment of individuals through grants, subsidizing a portion of the salary, the entire salary or payment of contributions.
