Indian businessmen Subrata Roy arrives to Macedonia

Indian businessmen Subrata Roy arrived at the Ohrid-based airport "St.Paul the Apostle" on Wednesday, welcomed by Vice Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski.

During his two-day visit to Macedonia, Roy will hold talks with state leadership on his intention to invest in the recreation complex 'Saharayan Makeeduniya' at the Ohrid Lake. He is set to visit a construction site of the complex, which will include world class hotels, casinos, residential and recreational facilities and an international standard gold golf course, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.

Roy will be also informed about the possibilities for investing in other branches of Macedonia's economy. Tomorrow he will hold a press conference to present his plans for investing in the country.

The project 'Saharayan Makeeduniya' has been designed by Atkins – a multinational engineering, design, planning, project management and consulting services company headquartered in the United Kingdom. The design bears the signature of architect Tom Wright, who on his list of works of art also has the Burj Al Arab in Dubai - the world's only seven-star hotel.
