A delegation of the Turkey's Army General Staff kicked off Wednesday its two-day visit to Macedonia.

The delegation has already held talks with Defense Minister Fatmir Besimi and Deputy ARM Chief of Staff Naser Sejdini, focused on the reforms of Macedonia's Army and contribution to international peace mission, democracy, peace and equality.

The visit that has been traditionally realized as a joint activity of Turkey’s Embassy to Macedonia, the Ministry of Defense and the Army contributes to further advancing of the friendly ties and excellent cooperation in the sphere of defense between the two states. It is also additionally strengthening the traditionally good relations between the two countries and their citizens, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

The Turkish delegation is also scheduled to visit Albania and Kosovo.
