Minister of Education and Science Pance Kralev pays Wednesday a visit to the Republic of Turkey, upon the invitation of counterpart Omer Dincer.

Interlocutors referred to enhancement of cooperation in the related fields, signing a Cooperation Protocol in the education sector.

"The protocol aims at stimulating meetings of experts and professionals, exchange of information, experiences and documents in numerous fields, including vocational education, training, art education, ICT in education, evaluation and testing, and specialized education for gifted students and ones with disabilities", the Ministry said in a press release.

The protocol also promotes the establishment of ties among so-called "sister schools" in elementary and secondary education, along with pupils' participation in athletic competitions, folk dances, youth scout camps.
