Minister Kralev attends SEELS conference in Brussels

Minister of Education and Science Pance Kralev participated Friday in a Brussels conference "Regional Networking and Academic Cooperation in Southeast Europe: Promoting European Values in Higher Legal Education", organised by the SEE Law School Network (SEELS).

Kralev during his three-day visit to Belgium held several bilateral talks with top EU officials, visited prestigious universities and took part in several events.

"By attending the SEELS forum, I'm wrapping up my visit to Belgium. The goal was to make contacts in order to open new programs under the management of the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility," Kralev told MIA's correspondent in Brussels.

According to him, the SEELS forum demonstrated how faculties from a certain filed could join forces to be presented before the European Commission in order to provide funds for their scientific activities in the future.

"My visit was very successful and I expect in the future the national agency in Macedonia to open several other programmes allowing our citizens and organizations to have access to funds," minister Kralev stated.

The SEELS forum aims to promote regional cooperation and advancement of academic and educational exchange between SEE countries and the international community. The conference brought together education ministers, rectors and deans from SEELS members, representatives of diplomatic missions, as well as representatives from the European Commission.
