Twenty new titles - part of the Government's project for translating 1,000 scientific books and textbooks that are used at top universities in the United States and Great Britain - were promoted Saturday in Skopje.

The titles' promoters, Premier Nikola Gruevski and Education Minister Pance Kralev, said  the project was carried out with same dynamic.

"As never before, best books in the field of medicine, agriculture, economy, information technology... are being added to the shelves of Macedonian libraries, reading rooms, faculties," Gruevski said.

Today, the 41st promotion of books translated within the project is being held, the PM said, pointing out that more than 700 books have been promoted thus far.

These masterpieces of the global science may only contribute to the development of national one and improve the knowledge of students and future professionals, as they are the ones who will create the country's development and policies in the upcoming years, the PM said.

Kralev said his ministry, as the project's coordinator, would keep promoting the distribution of translated books, as they have been rather welcomed by the citizens of Macedonia
