PM Gruevski puts new sports hall into service in Bitola

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who was accompanied by Minister of Education and Science Pance Kralev and Bitola mayor Vladimir Taleski, put into service a new sports hall, which will be used by students of the "Kuzman Sapkarev" high school in Bitola.

The new hall is envisaged by the project for constructing and equipping 145 school sports halls. The Bitola high school has been functioning without such a facility throughout its 104-year existence.

"We made a promise to the students and teachers and to sports clubs and athletes that a sports hall will be constructed and we fulfilled that promise. Four sports halls have been built so far in Bitola during our mandate," Gruevski said.

Having good communication between the government and the municipality of Bitola and stepping up procedures for realisation of projects yields positive results for the region of Bitola, according to him.

Education Minister Kralev stated that 18 sports halls had been put into use so far with seven new halls planning to be inaugurated before the start of the new school year as part of the project for constructing and equipping 145 school sports halls.
