Ivanovski: Government to produce specific measures for improvement of business climate

Micro and small enterprises will be the target group during the fourth stage of the regulatory guillotine project, Minister of Information Society and Administration Ivo Ivanovski told representatives of the Kumanovo business community on Friday.

According to Ivanovski, the Government is planning to produce specific measures for improvement of the business climate in this segment by the end of April, but also timeframes over their implementation, as well as adaptation of institutions and legislation.

"The achievement of tasks ahead of us will not be easy. We believe that such direct way of communication with entrepreneurs is most appropriate. It is important to open a constructive debate. Every remark and suggestion will be carefully reviewed by Government commissions", he added.

He stressed businessmen would be able to submit proposals for simplification and elimination of administrative barriers by the year-end, through filling out of forms and their submission to the ministry.

Disloyal competition, high property tax, impossibility to collect claims, liquidity are the biggest problems companies are faced with. They expect the regulatory guillotine to enhance and lower prices of services when acquiring certificates, documents, permits and licenses, as well as shortening of timeframes.

Minister Ivanovski presented the e-register of regulations, saying administration reforms are intensively implemented, along with development of information society for the purpose of efficient and quality services for citizens.

Today's meeting with Kumanovo businessmen is the first out of the 20 to be held in municipalities nationwide over the next two months.
