PM Nikola Gruevski and Director of the Agency for Youth and Sports Lazar Popovski opened Sunday double tennis court in “Jan Amos Komenski” primary school in Karpos municipality.

Tennis is beautiful sport, which has great perspective in the Republic of Macedonia, and maybe some young person will become famous Macedonian tennis player bringing us world fame. Aimed at speeding up these tendencies as government we started the project for construction of 100 tennis courts throughout Macedonia, Gruevski said.

He expressed assurance that such policy for construction of new sport grounds, tennis courts, football playgrounds, sport halls will give enormous stimulation and strong impulse in the Macedonian sport.

The sport should unite us and it should be out national pride, to be the best ambassador of Macedonia promoting our values. We are here under one flag, one hymn and to be happy of same successes, the successes of Macedonia, Gruevski said.

Director of the Agency for Youth and Sports Lazar Popovski said that this double tennis court meets all standards of the International Tennis Federation.
