Minister Pavleski attends automotive conference in Detroit

 

The minister in charge of attracting investments, Bill Pavleski, director of the Directorate for Technological and Industrial Development Zones, Viktor Mizo and the economic promoters in Chicago and New York are attending from Tuesday till Friday the prestigious world congress of Automotive News magazine and the North American International Auto Show, being held in Detroit, USA.

The Macedonian delegation in Detroit will establish contacts with representatives of automotive companies from all around the world, the government said in a press release. These events are being attended by top representatives of automotive companies, such as Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne.

The delegation will also hold direct talks with several US automotive companies that are negotiating with Macedonian officials for concrete investments.

Macedonian officials are expected to attend similar events throughout the year in order to boost the reputation of Macedonia as a destination for production and assembly of car components.
