Minister Kralev to address Education World Forum in London

Education Minister Pance Kralev, who is taking part at the 3-day Education World Forum in London, is to deliver an address Tuesday on topic "Focusing on higher education and lifelong learning: How technology supports education as a learning system in which research, development and idea sharing establish a system to improve education?"

In addition to addressing the event, Kralev is set to hold several bilateral meetings on Tuesday. He held talks yesterday with the UK  Minister of State for Schools, Nick Gibb to discuss the educational schooling systems in the two countries.

Minister Gibb expressed interest in the educational reforms in Macedonia and shared his country's experience with respect to integrated education and the UK's system for external testing of students. Both ministers also discussed ways Macedonia and the UK to strengthen cooperation, especially regarding higher education.

Minister Kralev also met his Latvian counterpart Roberts Kilis and both pledged to enhance cooperation in education. 

In London, Kralev also met with Todor Milev, general representative of the Munich-based Microsoft main office in north-eastern Europe. They discussed opportunities for projects aimed at improving and digitalising the educational process in Macedonia.

Miniter Kralev and Macedonian ambassador to the UK, Marija Efremova at a formal reception held at Lancaster House met briefly with UK Foreign Secretary William Hague, who hosted the reception on the occasion of the Education World Forum together with Prince Edward.
