Slovenia remains a champion of Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic integration and perceives the new government as a serious cooperation partner, Ambassador Milan Jazbec told Prime Minister Zoran Zaev at Friday's meeting.

Jazbec and Zaev highlighted the need for judiciary reforms towards creating a functional legal state.

"The Government is committed to implementing the required reforms, resulting in a bright future for the citizens and the country", said Zaev.

The PM announced the integration of all forces into the reform process, the Government's commitment to good neighborly relations and enhancement of regional cooperation.

Interlocutors also referred to intensification of bilateral economic cooperation and the opportunities for Slovenian investments in Macedonia.
