€6 million is the sum of the investment to rebuild 31 km long regional road Kocani-Makedonska Kamenica-Delcevo. Minister of Transport and Communications Vlado Misajlovski and Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads Aleksandar Stojanovski inspect Sunday the construction works and presented realized activities to VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski.

The road rebuilding will last 18 months. Firstly the landslide which hinders the traffic on this road will be rehabilitated and three bridges will be expanded as well as installation of new asphalt and road signs, Misajlovski said.

Gruevski said that the road is important for Delcevo, Makedonska Kamenica, Berovo and Pehcevo and for travelling to Bulgaria.

Delcevo –Kocani is part of the activities for rehabilitation and construction of regional roads whose investments amount €80 to €90 million.

Misajlovski and Stojanov inform that construction works are underway for reconstruction of 200 kilometers of regional roads. The roads which are being rehabilitated include Bitola-Resen-Bukovo, Kocani-Delcevo, Mokrino-Smolari, Nikolic-Dojran, Boskov most-Debar and Melnicki most-Centar Zupa.

Misajlovski said that the construction works of express roads Prilep-Gradsko, Stip-Kocani will start at the beginning of October, when also the start of construction of the expressway Radovis-Stip is planned.

Misajlovski, Stojanovski and Gruevski underlined that current activities in the rehabilitation of regional and express roads and the construction of highways Skopje-Stip, Kicevo-Ohrid enabled domestic construction companies to show strong interest to be included in the projects.
