I was shocked by the news of the terrorist attacks in Paris, which had claimed the lives of hundreds of people also leaving many injured. In these difficult moments of sorrow for the friendly people of France, allow me to extend condolences to the families of the victims of this barbaric act and to wish speedy recovery to those who were injured.

The thoughts and prayers of the Macedonian citizens are with the people of France.

The Republic of Macedonia strongly condemns the attacks, being against any kind of terrorist act, and the country stands side by side with France and our allies in the fight against terrorism we are all faced with.

The Paris attacks were an attack against all humanity, against peace and freedom. Terrorism must not win and will never win. Unity, solidarity and determination are the key in the efforts made to eliminate the forces that spread terror and violence posing a threat to every country.
