PM Gruevski meets France’s Secretary of State for European Affairs Desir

On Wednesday in Skopje Macedonia's Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski, and France's Secretary of State for European Affairs, Harlem, Desir discussed about Macedonia's EU-integration process, the bilateral relations and possibilities for their advancing.

They expressed satisfaction with the bilateral relations, saying that there is potential for their further development.

Gruevski extended gratitude for the support that France is providing for Macedonia's efforts to join the European Union. The EU membership is Macedonia's strategic goal and the country has been working hard on necessary reforms to turn it into reality, he said.

Referring to the migrant crisis, Gruevski and Desir agreed on the need for wider cooperation in making decisions for overcoming the current situation.

 

Gruevski and Desir also expressed readiness for bolstering the bilateral economic cooperation.
