PM Gruevski: Government realizes numerous infrastructure projects in Vinica, will keep supporting this region

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on Monday formally set into operation two tennis courts - a MKD 12 million (about EUR 195,000).

The Government will keep realizing a great number of projects for developing the sporting activities in the country, Gruevski said at the opening of the court, which is part of the Government's project for construction of 120 tennis fields across Macedonia.

In addition to investing in sporting facilities, the Government, along with Vinica municipality, has realized many infrastructure projects in this region, Gruevski said, emphasizing the significance of the industrial zone in Vinica and the one between Vinica, Zrnovci and Kocani.

"These two zones are the essential for attracting foreign investments in this region, erecting new factories, reducing the unemployment rate and reviving the economy," Gruevski said.

Earlier today, Gruevski also visited the company "Makprogres-Vincini" in Vinica.

The PM’s agenda today also includes a visit to the region of Berovo where he will put into use a hiking trail along Lake Berovo, attend a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a sewage and visit an elementary school that has been recently revamped.
