Barracuda FX will open 90 jobs in its R&D center in Skopje

Irish software company Barracuda FX announced it will make an investment worth about a million EUR and will open 90 jobs in her research and development center it will open in Macedonia. At a joint press conference with Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Pesevski, Barracuda co-founder Maurice Curran said that the company was drawn to Macedonia thanks to the available labor force and the favorable business climate.

"We visited Macedonia several times and we were emboldened by the professionalism we saw. Our decision to come here was easy to make and we home many other foreign companies will follow our example", Curran said.

According to Pesevski, the R&D center will be open in a month. "It is an atypical center, the likes of which we haven't seen in Macedonia. The company aims to develop its range of trading and risk management software products in Macedonia", Pesevski said.

The Dublin based company also has offices in London. It's offices in Skopje will operate from the downtown based Soravia trade center.
