Representatives of Irish software company Barracuda FX visit Macedonia

Vice Premier for Economic Affairs Vladimir Pesevski is set to meet Wednesday with representatives of Irish software company "Barracuda FX", which announced yesterday it is expanding research & development operations into Macedonia.

Barracuda FX is a market-leading technology provider to institutions operating in the global Foreign Exchange (FX) markets.

"We are excited to expand our operations into Macedonia, which has a rich talent pool of technology professionals that can help us grow and develop our global business. In addition to this, Macedonia is also a very supportive environment for doing business and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship", said Barracuda FX CEO Kieran Fitzpatrick.

"On behalf of the Government, I would like to express my great satisfaction in Barracuda FX expanding its business operations into Macedonia. We believe that the excellent business climate in the country has resulted in significant expansion of the IT sector and entrance of such credible companies. This investment has confirmed the Government’s efforts for creating a favourable business climate in the country and its dedication to be a credible and reliable partner of the business community. Barracuda’s presence in Macedonia will also be a good opportunity for Macedonian technology professionals to build careers within a successful international business organisation", said Vice Premier Pesevski.
