"Great commitment, wisdom, awareness, strategic approach  and capability for anticipation of events and creation of solutions for overcoming of challenges is required. The political centre-right possesses these qualities", stressed Gruevski.

He added that good governance, rule of law, citizen-friendly efficient public administration, independent judiciary and transparency in operations of authorities, strengthening of dialogue with the civil society sector, social inclusion, as well as building a culture of social justice would create the required synergy of the state and citizens in achievement of objectives.

Gruevski also referred to Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic integration and respect of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) beneficial judgment over the suit against Greece.

"Europe will continue to move forward, including all members of the continent's family. Part of that spirit encompasses giving a chance to my country to move forward in the field of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. I believe it is rational and just for the European Council to accept the European Commission recommendation over determining a date for start of accession negotiations, thus acknowledging the needs and interests of my citizens for further social and economic development, new reforms", emphasized Gruevski.

He added that the ICJ ruling has given stimulus to this motivation, enabling the country's integration in NATO and EU without additional requirements.

"This stance of the Court, established by the United Nations, which takes into account the highest values of freedom, justice, rule of law and equality, gives us a fresh incentive to overcome all challenges on the path to European and Euro-Atlantic integration through friendly relations with all Union member-states, regional countries, primarily our neighbors", stressed Gruevski.

He voiced belief that the EPP and the European Council would respect the Court's values.

"EPP has the political leadership that enables progress, and your assistance will represent a strong encouragement for small countries, such as mine, which have enormous faith in European and Euro-Atlantic principles of justice and equality", underlined Gruevski.
