IT training for 220 unemployed persons

Minister of Information Society and Administration Ivo Ivanovski, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov, and Employment Service Agency Director Vlatko Popovski elaborated Saturday the call for advanced IT training of 220 unemployed persons.

The training for Java Programmer and Web Application Programmer will each encompass 110 unemployed persons. The project is worth MKD 18 million (EUR 300,000), provided through the EU IPA programme.

"375 persons successfully completed this training in 2014, of whom 246 got a job afterwards", said Minister Spasov.

Minister Ivanovski said the project would also include IT training in Dot Net Programming and CAD Programming.

Agency Director Popovski added the training would provide an opportunity to take an exam for an international certificate.
