FM Poposki at OSCE Permanent Council session in Vienna

Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki briefed Thursday a session of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna on current developments in Macedonia, focusing on the latest talks in Brussels.

"The strategic goal for Macedonia's full Euro-Atlantic integration, which enjoys vast support in the Macedonian society, requires serious and constructive political engagement. Macedonia has demonstrated a capacity for dialogue, and all political stakeholders involved in it are obliged to act properly for the current challenges to be surpassed," Poposki said.

Highlighting the long, successful Macedonia-OSCE cooperation, Poposki said he expected for the organization to support the agreed activities, in particular the ones related to the election process.

At the session's sidelines, Poposki held several bilateral meetings, and later today is scheduled to hold talks with Yukiya Amano, the International Atomic Energy Agency Director General.

The Permanent Council formed by the delegates of the 57 participating states which is one of the main regular decision-making bodies of the Organization, convenes weekly in Vienna to discuss developments in the OSCE area and to make appropriate decisions.
