PM Gruevski meets European Council representatives

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski held talks Wednesday in Skopje with representatives of the European Council working group in charge of the EU enlargement.

The talks addressed the Government's agenda for realization of reforms and measures, aimed at meeting the criteria set under Macedonia's EU-integration process.

The meeting also tackled the challenges deriving from the status of the political dialogue in the country. In this respect, the interlocutors underlined the significance of institutional response to those challenges and their overcoming.

The EU membership is Macedonia's strategic goal and the country has been working intensively on realizing further reforms to advance the integration process, Gruevski told the guests.

During a discussion on foreign-policy aspects of the EU integration process, Gruevski notified Macedonia's efforts for further development of the good-neighborly relations and regional cooperation.
