Gruevski: Six new investments will create 4.500 new jobs

Six new investments which will create 4.500 new jobs announced Sunday Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski addressing the VMRO-DPMNE rally in Boris Trajkovski sports hall.

He announced that US investment from automotive industry worth €15 million located in Tetovo that will open 2.500 jobs in this region. Also investment in Vasilevo in facility for production of materials for mines and construction will also open.

The government three weeks ago also gave concession expansion to owner of Sasa mine in Makedonska Kamenica, which will be new investment and opening of 200 jobs, he said. He announced new investment and new 1.000 jobs in Veles and German company in automotive industry decided to invest in Prilep and to create 250 jobs mainly for highly educated staff who will be trained in Germany.

And the sixth investment Gruevski said is German company which will invest €30 million in zone in Skopje and will open 500 new jobs. The company opened its office in Skopje and first jobs are already created.

These new six investments will mean new 4.500 jobs in Macedonia, Gruevski said, adding that investments and new jobs are real fight for the country.

He reminded that since 2006 the unemployment rate was reduced from 38% to 27.6% and during this period 138.000 new jobs were opened.

Only this year we expect 25 foreign companies to reach and to announce their decision for construction of facilities in Macedonia and new 13.000 jobs to be created. This is how we fight for Macedonia! Gruevski said.
