PM Gruevski meets US Ambassador Baily

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski held Wednesday a meeting with the new US Ambassador to Macedonia, Jess Baily.

The interlocutors welcomed the countries’ relations voicing commitment towards their continuous improvement and enhancement. Preparedness for intensifying cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest was also presented.

They discussed the reforms being implemented in Macedonia and the current political developments as PM Gruevski emphasized the country’s strategic objective to join the Euro-Atlantic community and bolster standards in all social areas.

Both interlocutors also stressed the importance of fostering cooperation in peacekeeping missions, in which Macedonian servicemen participate under NATO auspices.

Their talks also focused on opportunities to increase business cooperation, trade exchange and cooperation in relation to investments.
