Government’s active measures to provide over 16.000 employments

The new operational plan for active employment measures will include 16.226 unemployed persons of which the government expects 8.200 to be direct employment. Denar 660 million will be allocated from budget for implementation of operational plan, Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Vladimir Pesevski said at Friday’s press conference.

Self-employment programme will include 960 persons, 200 persons will find new jobs within support to micro and small enterprises, 136 persons are foreseen to be employed within programmes for subsidized employments of people in social risk, and 5.000 young persons will be employed within subsidized employment of unemployed and young under the age of 29 by payment of social security contributions. 1.000 people are to be employed within training programme with a known employer and 476 people to be employed within subsidized employment training at work place. The training to satisfy labour demands will include 220 persons and 270 persons will be included within training for advanced IT skills, practical training will include 1.000 persons while 2.000 persons will be encompassed within trainings of basic employment skills…

Priority for participation in the active measures will be given to candidates based on criteria defined for each programme. Equal representation of women and men and age rate of young under the age of 29 of at least 30% will be an important rule in all conditions, programmes and trainings for employment in operational plan, Pesevski said.
