The declaration of Saint Mother Teresa is a great event for Macedonia, who can now count another Christian saint born on its territory, said Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev, who attended the grand ceremony in the Vatican.

"In this moments of what we might call a political crisis in Macedonia, this was a nice opportunity to remember the works of Mother Teresa and to be able to dwell on her values. While we have intense political fights between the parties, we must remember how Mother Teresa promoted humanity, welfare and respect to each other. She helped people regardless of their religion, race or the color of their skin", Dimitriev told the MIA correspondent in Rome.
