Macedonian doctors will train at prestigious Paris St. Joseph hospital

Macedonian Healthcare Minister Nikola Todorov met with Jean-Patrick Lajonchere, manager of the private Paris hospital St. Joseph on Wednesday, and agreed to have 10 Macedonian doctors to spend some time working in this leading French hospital. During January 2015 an anaesthesiologist will be the first Macedonian doctor to work in St. Joseph to improve their skills and knowledge.

"St. Joseph is the best ranked hospital for glaucoma treatment in France, and we have also agreed to have an ophthalmologist to work with his French colleagues during March 2015", Todorov said after the meeting in Paris.

The Minister is in France, working on projects to improve cooperation between French and Macedonian hospitals and also to promote the program for free healthcare zones that are due to be opened in Macedonia, for the treatment of foreign patients.
