Defense Minister Jolevski discussed terror threats at the Belgrade Prayer Breakfast

Defense Minister Zoran Jolevski attended the Balkan Prayer Breakfast held in the Serbian capital of Belgrade, during which he met with a number of US Congress members and participants from the region and Europe.

Minister Jolevski spoke at a round table in the Serbian Parliament on handling the threat of terrorism. The discussion, led by Parliament Deputy Speaker Vladimir Marinkovic, included defense and interior ministers from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, US representative Robert Aderholt, former US representatives, Bundestag members and other politicians. Participants, the Defense Ministry informed, agreed to prepare a joint policy paper that would suggest specific actions to combat terrorism in the region. Minister Jolevski also called on EU member states and the US to support the region in this course.
