Construction of four new plants to start soon

The construction of four plants by already-announced foreign investments will start by the end of July and in early August and another two companies are set to start their operations. More than 5,000 people will be hired in the six plants, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski stated Tuesday.

“In July and August the start of construction of four plants will be marked while two other will complete their construction, in fact they will start the production process. All in all, construction will be launched for four plants that have been previously announced and two others will be completed so as to begin manufacture. In all of them, over 5,000 people will be employed,” Gruevski told reporters.

These plants include Key Safety Systems (KSS) in Kicevo, ODW Elektrik in Ohrid and Struga, Kondevo in Stip and Gentherm in Prilep. Technical Textiles in Stip and Diatec in the industrial zone in Skopje will be inaugurated.

“It is possible as of September other capacities of foreign investors to be built,” PM Gruevski announced saying it was still early to reveal the names of these companies.
