VLADIMIR PESHEVSKI,M.A DEPUTY-PRESIDENT IN CHARGE FOR ECONOMICS AFFAIRS

 

Mr. Vladimir Peshevski was designated as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs on July 10, 2009. 

 

Born on June 19th, 1970.

 

In 1993 completed the studies in the field of power engineering at the Faculty for Electrical Engineering at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, where he continues his education for the master studies, as well. He finishes the master studies program with maximum average score and is in process of submission of his master thesis. In 2001 he completes MA studies in field of Business Administration at the University of Sheffield, England- program affiliated with City College in Thessaloniki. 

 

He started his career in 1993 as assistant at the Center for Research in New Technologies at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, where he worked on power engineering projects, with accent on power industry strategy, electric energy distribution systems, renewable energy recourses and environmental protection.


Starting from 1996 he works as a consultant for strategic management and finances providing consultant support to over 50 Macedonian companies.


In 1998 was assigned Director of SEAF Macedonia and successfully managed with this international investment fund for direct investments with focus on private companies in Macedonia, till 2006 when he becomes General Director and partner of SEAF South Balkan Fund. This fund has many investments in Macedonia and Serbia.


He has been main investment consultant in several merges and acquisitions of regional companies to foreign investors.


His significant professional experience can be complemented with membership and active participation to the First Board of Directors of American Chamber of Commerce in Macedonia, the National Council for Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness; lecturer of M.A. studies at the Sheffield University - Program of the City College in Thessaloniki, on the subject Strategic Management. 

 

He is fluent in English, Russian language and the other Slavic languages spoken at the Balkans.

 

Married, father of three children.
